Bell and Jacob met at a board game night, which is fitting because Bell hates board games. Jacob could tell that Bell wasn’t comfortable, so he went out of his way to talk to Bell and get a leg up in the game. Jacob apparently made a good impression since Bell told her friends that Jacob was the cutest guy there. Fast-forward five or so game nights, and Bell and Jacob are having their first date. Two years later, Jacob proposed, and apparently, he was cute enough for Bell to say yes. Now, Bell lives in London studying fashion marketing, and Jacob lives in Scotland studying Biblical languages. Our long-distance engagement would not have been our first choice, but even more devastating is our long-distance relationship with our child, Kiwi, the wiener dog. We are so excited to share our special day with so many people we love, and we cannot wait to see you in Tulsa on a moderately warm, rainless, windless, and otherwise weather-free October night!
